Bucs star QB: Tom Brady

Drafting in fantasy football is the most important part of fantasy football. This sets your team up for the rest of the year.

This is why knowing who and how to draft is critical in winning your fantasy football league.

Your position in the draft determines who you should draft in what position

Every fantasy football owner has different ideas of how to draft, some work some don’t

The main key to success of drafting a fantasy football team is preparation. If you are not prepared and don’t know the status of the players or where to draft them, you will not do well in your fantasy league.

Another key to success is drafting the best player available, not someone from your favorite team. For example, if Derrick Henry is on the board and you’re an Eagles fan and want Miles Sanders, Henry is clearly the right choice here. Never go for your favorite teams player if they aren’t the right choice.

Ezekiel Elliott, star running back of the Dallas Cowboys

As a Cowboys fan, this is one of the hardest things to do in my drafts. I always want to draft all the Cowboys players on the board but I force myself not to, and take the best available instead.

Lastly, know your surroundings. If you’re drafting at a friends house, do not get distracted and miss or mess up picks.

Do not let your friends tempt you in to taking someone you don’t want to take just because they want who you want.

Always go for the guy you want, without caring if somebody else wants them or not.

Fantasy football is about winning, not being nice giving away players you need to win the league.
