As such, each of you will be required to maintain a professional presence on your Twitter feed for the next 10 days. The assignment will begin on tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assignment Overview<\/strong>: You must maintain a professional presence on Twitter for 10 days between September 24th \u2013 October 4<sup>th<\/sup>. The tweets relating to your beat must be professional; any personal tweets do not need to be professional. You should promote your website in your tweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Specific Details on Your 10 Day Presence<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>For 10 days as noted above, you must maintain a &#8220;professional&#8221; presence on Twitter as it relates to your beat.<\/li><li>You must tweet at least twice a day, and a minimum of 8 hours must elapse after every TWO tweets. Retweets DO NOT count as a tweet.<\/li><li>You must use the hashtag #dccs225 for all your tweets.<\/li><li>You must follow me (first) so I may follow you in return.<\/li><li>Need minimum of 20 tweets in 10 day period.<\/li><li>You will be judged on your content and professionalism.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Criteria for which you will be graded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Did you tweet at least once a day for 10 days?<\/li><li>Did you space your tweets?<\/li><li>Were your tweets the right length (did you leave room for retweets?)<\/li><li>Were your tweets professional (capitalization, punctuation, spelling, no typos)?\u00a0<\/li><li>Were your tweets interesting?\u00a0<\/li><li>Were your tweets creative?<\/li><li>Did you vary your tweets (share material, retweets, original content, photos, etc.) \u00a0<\/li><li>Did you use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorturl.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link shorteners<\/a>?<\/li><li>Did you use appropriate hashtags?<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Twitter is a powerful reporting app to drive traffic to your blog and to establish a following.
