Opening Night

Cowboys vs Buccaneers

The season has officially started as the Bucs took down the Cowboys in their season opening game. A highly anticipated game as the reigning super bowl champions took on a very talented cowboys team with Dak Prescott coming back from being injured most of last season.

The Bucs ended up defeating the cowboys by a score of 31-29. It was a tight game at the end as Brady and the Bucs were down a point with 1:24 left in the game. That was too much time to leave Brady as he marched the Bucs down the field to get them into field goal position. Succop kicked the game winning field goal to clinch to the victory.

Both quarterbacks had solid games as Brady threw for 379 yards and 4td’s and Dak threw for 403 yards and 3td’s. Both teams showed promise to be contenders in the playoffs and have solid seasons.

Even though, the cowboys did not win, they impressed me a bit. Their offense has weapons that can tear apart any defense while their defense does need some work, they show promise. I also believe Dak is great candidate for comeback player of the year as he played pretty well in the season opener.

This season should be a good ones, as we have a lot more games this weekend.
